The MSM-ESAMI RTA DBA Program is a four year research based degree program executed jointly by Maastricht School of Management (MSM) and the Eastern and Southern African Management Insititute (ESAMI) and hosted by ESAMI, Arusha, Tanzania. It is made up of four parts, variable in duration and course load: The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) stage, which includes the coursework and the research proposal seminar, the field research, the data analysis phase and the dissertation writing and defense.
Admission Requirements
The following are the minimum requirements for admission to the MPhil phase of the doctoral degree program:

Candidates must hold at least a Master’s Degree or its academic equivalent from a recognized university. The Director Research will decide about the equivalence of degrees.

Candidates should have at least three years of business work experience as a manager before they can be admitted to the program.
Selection takes place on an individual basis, based on the participant’s prior academic performance, the suitability of the preliminary research proposal for the school’s research programs, and the overall achievements and goals of the applicant.
Tuition fee: Euro 20,000.
