Kennedy Faustin Ssejjemba


Lecturer of Marketing & Management at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEMA), Makerere University, Kampala (Uganda).     

Short Profile 

Mr. Ssejjemba holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degree from Makerere University and a Post-graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) of UK. He holds extensive business management experience spanning over 15 years. Prior to joining FEMA, he worked with East African Breweries Ltd, Unilever and Unga Group where he held senior sales and marketing positions. He has worked in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC and Southern Sudan facilitating the development of new businesses.

He also has vast management consultancy experience gained through working with a number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda in a bid to develop their competitiveness for sustainable business operations. He is currently a business development consultant with DANIDA’s SME agribusiness development component, which focuses on improving the capacity of agribusiness enterprises in Uganda. He is also an associate consultant with the Uganda Management Institute (UMI) in the areas of marketing and business development.
