Shareholders' Dialogue Forum on the Public Private Partnership of Mining for the Implementation of a Diamond Cutting and Polishing Plant

This Round Table was based on a value chain research on the diamond sector in Mwanza. People from government as well as entrepreneurs were discussing the feasibility of establishing a polishing and cutting plant in Tanzania, as in this way not only raw diamonds would be exported and more value could remain in the country. The Round Table was also in line with a recently released loan from the World Bank focusing on restructuring of the mining sector in Tanzania.
