Mr. Warutere (Kenya) is a Governance and Communications Specialist working at the World Bank in Nairobi, Kenya. The Nairobi office is in charge of Kenya, Comoros, Eritrea, Rwanda, Seychelles and Somalia.

He has a Master degree in Development Economics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom and undergraduate from University of Nairobi.

He has worked as a Governance Adviser (2004-2006) at the Government of Kenya, Office of the President and Ministry of Finance. In addition, Mr. Warutere was a lecturer in Economics at Kenya School of Monetary Studies (1999), and a Business and Financial writer/analyst for several Kenyan and foreign media.
